The Okura School Kyogen performers Zenchiku Daijirō and Ōkura Noriyoshi, who stirred up a whirlwind of laughter with their in-person performances in the US in 2016, 2017, and 2019, are back!This webinar presents the popular Kyogen “Bōshibari”, which was presented in Tokyo this summer to great acclaim. The content will be transmitted in English and Japanese using interpretation and subtitles.There will also be an interview with the Kyogen performers exploring their daily training and how the tradition of Kyogen has been passed on.
