「瀬戸内アジアフォーラム2022」海でつながる世界の「今」をどう考えるかSetouchi Asia Forum 2022-Think of today's world connected through the sea[English is below]10月16日（日）、瀬戸内国際芸術祭2022秋会期において、瀬戸内と世界をつなぐ「瀬戸内アジアフォーラム2022」を開催いたします。2016年にスタートし、2019年、第2回が開催された瀬戸内アジアフォーラムは、アートや文化による地域づくりに関わるアジア諸地域の団体・個人のネットワークの形成に貢献し、対話と交流を生み出してきました。昨年2021年には初のオンライン開催を実施。コロナ禍で考えたことや自身の活動について、世界27か国30人のアーティストによるライブレポートをお届けしました。第4回目となる今年は、10月16日（日）、「レクザムホール 多目的大会議室《玉藻》」を現地会場とした公開フォーラムを世界各地とオンラインでつなぐハイブリッド形式で開催いたします。2020年からのコロナ禍、ロシア軍のウクライナ侵攻は続き、飢餓、難民、紛争を含め世界規模で、地球環境とは？グローバル化とは？国家とは？という問いが私たちにつきつけられています。高松会場では、瀬戸内国際芸術祭、大地の芸術祭を巡り、意見を交わし合ってきたタイ、カンボジア、インドネシア、香港、台湾、ロシア、ベラルーシ、イタリアの参加アーティスト、美術研究者が出演。オンラインでは、世界的彫刻家アントニー・ゴームリーやウクライナで避難生活を続けるジャンナ・カディロワをはじめとする芸術祭参加アーティスト、文明や日本について深く考察し続ける作家・池澤夏樹、世界銀行、文化行政関係者等、多様な分野の第一人者が発言します。総勢20名以上からのプレゼンテーションを通して、今、私たちが直面する課題への答えを探りたいと思います。ぜひ多くの皆様のご参加、ご視聴をお待ちしております。《開催概要》・日時：令和4年10月16日（日）15:00-18:00（開場14:30）・会場：レクザムホール 多目的大会議室「玉藻」／オンライン（Vimeo）・定員：［現地］50人、［オンライン］無制限・料金：1000円（現地／オンライン共通）※現地／オンライン視聴ともに、同時通訳（日・英２か国語）がございます。現地の場合は同時通訳レシーバーをお使いいただけます。オンライン視聴の場合は、日本語版と英語版の両方の配信リンクをお送りします。《出演者》（所属／肩書、出身国／活動国）パート11. Antony Gormley／アントニー・ゴームリー（アーティスト、イギリス）--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Setouchi Asia Forum 2022-Think of today's world connected through the seaAs an official program of the Setouchi Triennale 2022, we are pleased to announce that the Setouchi Asia Forum 2022 will be held on October 16 in a hybrid format, connecting the Setouchi venue with the rest of the world online.The Setouchi Asia Forum, launched in 2016 and held for the second time in 2019, has contributed to the formation of a network of organizations and individuals from various Asian regions involved in regional development through art and culture and has generated dialogues and exchanges. In 2021, due to the COVID 19 infection, we decided to organize the event online under the title “Artists’ Breath Live: Artists in the midst of the pandemic,” and transmitted live the voices of about 30 artists from 28 countries and regions around the world, and published a booklet compiling the texts contributed by 80 artists from about 40 countries and regions on "what they felt and worked on during this period."The Corona disaster continued since 2020 and the invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops has continued, and global issues including famine, refugees, and conflicts have confronted us with to question, what is the global environment? What is globalization? What is a nation? Yet, we are still living as best we can under the yoke of the countries we belong to and the time we have been living in. Can art be a close friend of humanity at this time as it once was?
