Weekly Director's Workshop What Starting 18th Jan 2018, and spread over five Thursday evenings, this weekly workshop will teach you the basics of film directing. From how to work with actors and crew, to how to develop and oversee your vision for the film from script development to post-production, you will leave equipped to lead your own projects to success.Course GoalBy the end of the course, you should have a solid grounding to confidently get your film made. We will explore screen grammar, and how everything within the frame should be part of your vision for the film. Are these rules, or guidelines?Week 3The ActorsWhat are the differences between stage and screen acting? How do you bring out the best from your actors? What is 'The Truth' when what we see is mediated by a screen? Is less more?Week 4The Crew and EquipmentWhat is the director’s primary tool? We will explore the key relationships on set, and how best to utilise equipment to convey your ideas. Week 5The Edit The story is rewritten and reshaped in post-production. We will examine how you can help your editor during the shoot, and how sound and music become vital storytelling elements.The TutorRory O'Donnell, has 25 years' experience in the UK entertainment industry, first as an actor on stage, screen and television (including a play directed by Oscar-nominee / BAFTA-winner Stephen Daldry), before working as Courses Director at Raindance London for 10 years. That's how strongly we believe in what we offer.-------Weekly Directors’ Workshop 1 とは？木曜日の夜５回18:30 - 21:00まで映画監督の役割を勉強します。キャスト、スタッフなどとの関係、または脚本から自分のヴィジョンを映像にの写し方などもっと深く勉強したい参加者は非義務的な「宿題」を受けることもできます。ご参加登録は下記の「申し込み」ボタンよりお願いいたします。ワークショップ目的英語で映画監督の仕事を学び始めるスケジュール第１回、1月18日　ー　シナリオ監督として、脚本はどう読めば良いのでしょう。第2回、1月25日　ー　映像映画の形式と内容の違いは？映画の文法は何だ？ルールと言われているものは本当にルールなのか？第３回、2月1日　ー　役者舞台と映画の演技の違いは何だ？どうしたら、役者の良いパフォーマンスが育てられるのか？映像に映っているものは、事実なのか？第４回　2月8日　ー　スタッフ・機材監督の一番大切なツールは何だ？スタッフとコミュニケーションはどうとったら良いのか？第５回　2月15日　ー　編集ポストプロダクションで、映画はもう一度作り直されます。編集スタッフとどうコラボレーションをするのか。先生 先生のローリー・オドンネルは、２５年間の英国芸能界の経験を持っています。元俳優として舞台ではスティーブン・ダルドリーの上演作品に出演し、９０年代はテレビ、映画、舞台の出演は多かった。その後、脚本家、監督として様々な海外映画祭で上映されるショートフィルム（短編映画）を製作し、２００７年にはロンドンでコースディレクダー（教育部長）として世界最大のインディペンデント映画際のRaindance(レインダンス映画祭）に勤め始めた。１万人以上のプロからアマチュアを含む生徒達を教え、この経験を持って日本へやってきた。
