Learn2Cycle & Safe2Cycle are educational programmes to educate kids on (1) how to cycle and (2) safety aspect of cycling (for those who already can cycle). These programmes are conducted by HappyCycle and SafeCycle Academy and is targeted exclusively for your kids aged 6-12 or older! Program 1: Learn2Cycle (Kids Group Cycling Lessons by HappyCycle)Get your young champions started on a fun cycling journey!Kids can learn to become confident and safe cyclists and embark on two-wheeled adventures! Lesson Details:No prior skills required. Suitable for 6 years old and above.The following will be covered:Pedaling on 2 wheels unassistedHow to slow down and brake safelyConfident bike controlProgram 2: Safe2Cycle Lesson (for kids who can cycle)Our team of experienced Educators will engage your little ones in an interactive session designed to improve their skills and understanding of the challenges of safe cycling.Participants will be put through a series of skill-based courses and short briefs with videos, ending with a quiz where participants walked away with prizes such as safety helmets. Each child will also receive a set of reflective safety snap bands, colouring book & crayons, safe cycle badge and a e-certificate of participation, certifying them as a Super Safe Junior Cyclist! What your children will learn during the Safe Cycling programme? Safety Briefing A short video clip will be screened at the start of the clinic, where participants will learn the do's and don'ts of cycling. It will be followed up with a briefing on how to do a safety check on a bicycle before riding. Skill based course Two courses will be introduced where one learns to ride with precision and skill. Road Circuit Station Children are taught to observe basic road signs and the inherent challenges on public roads. Venue: Singapore Expo, Atrium 4 Date: 22-23 October 2022Available time slots: 10.30am-11.30am, 12.00pm-1.00pm, 2.00pm-3.00pm, 3.30pm-4.30pm, 5.00pm-6.00pmDuration: approx. 1 hour each session There are only 5 slots per day. Upon registration, please pick your preferred day and time slot.  On the day of the event, parents are to bring their kids to our on-site registration counter at least 15 minutes before the programme starts. Note: All kids must wear covered shoes, helmet, comfortable attire for either of the above lessons/programme * All neccessary equipment (bicycle, helmet) to be provided at no extra cost.
