The founder Jennie Barck found her passion for ethical consciousness on a volunteer trip to Cambodia where she discovered enterprises giving jobs to women with PTSD as well as seeing local crafts. After having experienced the fashion scene in London and Milan, she wanted to come back to Singapore to raise awareness on slow fashion. The Maker journal aims to bring together a global community of conscious consumers to discuss, collaborate and explore slow fashion and everything that it means.
