TEDxUTSC: Unearthed

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxUTSC, where x= independently organized TED event. At our TEDxUTSC event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC). The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

TEDxUTSC is back once again for our 6th annual conference taking place January 27th, 2018. What do we have in store for you as a delegate? A full-day filled with 12 amazing 18 minute TEDx talks by an incredibly diverse speaker lineup, breakfast and catered lunch, and conversation breaks to give you the chance to network with our speakers and other delegates while enjoying snacks. Most importantly our speakers have been preparing their talks for over 5 months to inspire you.

To unearth, is to discover something hidden, lost or kept secret by investigation and searching. This year TEDxUTSC aims to dig up and bring to light topics and ideas that have yet to be uncovered, to consider perspectives that have yet to be seen. TEDxUTSC presents to you: Unearthed
