In this session, participants will learn about this technique, its heritage, and how it differs from batik made using hot wax.  Participants will create their own carrier bag in this workshop, which will introduce all the steps of batik making. This workshop is designed for beginners and no prior experience is required.  About aNERDgallery:aNERDgallery is a Singapore-based art platform that specialises in presenting new narratives and contemporary artworks that use the concept, technique, or medium of Indonesian batik or tenun woven cloths.
