The workshop will continue to allow participants to deepen their understanding of the written word through the use of poetry, prose and playwriting. Furthermore, by exploring on the theme of Language performers will revise their own works using theatrical techniques such as Biomechanics, imagination activities, Improvisation, movement and character analysis. The re-staging of the play culminates in 3 performances to be held at the Haque Centre of Acting and Creativity in Singapore.
Words of My Body is part of the Body Series, a 3 year project that delves into the physical, emotional and mental state of different characters that intersect and interact with each other through language, movement and music.
