As a conclusion of this project, KMK is holding an open discussion ASEAN Cafe to look back over the three years of conferences and research programs in various countries, and to discuss future corporate support for the arts and culture in Asian society.The impact of 3-year ASEAN project includes current accelerating movements towards the establishment of private intermediate support organizations to promote corporate support for the arts in Indonesia and Malaysia. In Singapore, vibrant and diverse cultural promotion projects have been implemented by the government, private sectors and organizations. He has been working with communities on arts, architecture, and environmental conservation. He was chair of Jakarta Arts Council in July 2006 - January 2010. He was a fellow at the Asian Leaders Fellowship Programme (ALFP) at the International House of Japan in Tokyo in 2009. He co-founded Rujak Center for Urban Studies in 2010 to promote thinking and practices on sustainability. In 2012 he built Bumi Pemuda Rahayu sustainability learning center in a village near Yogyakarta to house workshops and art residency programs for works with communities and ecological issues, including urban-rural relationship.
