In conjunction with Plein-Air Painters of America Exhibition at Salmagundi, April 22 through May 9, PAPA and SCNY offer a package price for all three events to include the Don Demers Demo, the "Why Outdoors Panel Discussion" and the Gil Delinger Demonstration.Tickets are $75, SCNY Members $65. One ticket allows admission to all three events. Saturday, April 26: Donald Demers Oil Painting Demonstration, 2-5pm, Tickets $40, SCNY Members $35. Available exclusively through PeaTix, on sale April 1st. The painting will be available for sale immediately following its completion. Saturday, April 26: "Why Outdoors?" Panel Discussion with Moderator Peter Trippi, editor of Fine Art Connoisseur, 7-9pm. Tickets $15. Symposium explores how painters invigorate their field studies and studio paintings through potent outdoor encounters that engage the senses. PAPA panelists include: Kathleen Dunphy, West Fraser, Joseph McGurl, and Joseph Paquet. Sunday, April 27: Gil Dellinger Pastel Demonstration, 10-12 pm. Tickets $35, SCNY Members $30, on sale April 1st. Following the demonstration, participants are invited to venture out into the neighborhood where some of the country’s best plein-air painters will be working on-location in the vibrant setting of Washington Square Park.
