Founded by renowned musicians such as Chen Chien Chi, Oliver Ching, Mike Han. The festival attempts to promote Taiwan indie music and original music to overseas audience and has successfully set itself apart from traditional outdoor music festival, giving the audience an alternative festival experience. Since 2011, Taiwan Calling Music Festival has been held for 4 years in Hong Kong, many well-known Taiwan contemporary artists such as Yoga Lin, LaLa, Den Lam, Deserts Zhang, Waa Wei; Bands such as Tizzy Bac, Sugar Plum Ferry, Echo, Chairman have been part of the festival. Apart from well-known acts, the festival also brings a new array of up and coming talents such as HUSH, Mary See The Future, My Skin Against Your Skin and other new up and coming artists.
