Much has changed since the days when gambier, pepper and then pineapple and rubber were planted. It is an area where further change is underway. Let us take a walk around it to discover what’s left of the old world and what the new world has and is bringing to it.
The walk will begin at Springleaf MRT Station and depending on the weather conditions, we may take a 5.5 km walk or do part of the the journey by bus (so do bring your EZY-link cards etc), and end in the Chong Pang City area where there are buses to both Yishun and Springleaf MRT Stations.
