QUANTUM陶芸家・黒川徹との特別なコラボレーションによる3日間の展示と、弦理論に基づいた陶芸作品シリーズを発表するオーディオ・インスタレーションです。パーカッション、電子音楽、そして黒川徹とヤニック・パジェの共同で創作された新しいセラミックの楽器を用いた展示の中で行う連日のパフォーマンスを通して、量子物理学と弦理論に生命と音を吹き込みます。This special collaboration with the ceramist Toru Kurokawa consists of a 3-day exhibition and audio installation presenting a series of ceramics based on String Theory. Quantum physics and String theory will be brought to life through Yannick Paget’s daily performance set in the exhibition: using percussion, electronic music, and a new ceramic instrument created through the collaboration of Kurokawa and Paget.弦理論交響曲« Consciousness »« Consciousness » a String Theory Symphony 様々なコラボレーションが織りなす５つの楽章：５つのパフォーマンスによる交響曲弦理論交響曲«Consciousness » はアコースティックミュージシャン、空間音楽、音と映像のインスタレーション等、境界を超えたコラボレーションによる５つのパフォーマンスから成る没入型、多次元型の作品です。演奏される音楽は、物理学者の橋本幸士と共にヤニック・パジェによって作り出された新しい音楽言語に基づいています。これは弦理論の原理を音階や音の組み合わせに解釈しなおしたものです。A symphony in five movements:“Consciousness” a String Theory Symphony is an immersive, multi-dimensional piece, composed of five performances with transdisciplinary collaborations that mix acoustic musicians, spatial music and sound and video installations. The music is based on the innovative musical language created by Yannick Paget, in close collaboration with the physicist Koji Hashimoto. Recent concerts include Every Good Boy Deserves Favor with actor Shinichi Tsutsumi or concerts with Ken Watanabe in Shibuya, Tokyo. Conceptualizing a free and decompartmentalized vision of music, Yannick Paget leads many projects in the field of contemporary creation as a composer, conductor and instrumentalist (percussionist) and in particular with his ensemble N'SO KYOTO.橋本幸士 :京都大学教授、理論物理学者。専門は弦理論。1973年生まれ。2000年京都大学で博士号取得。カリフォルニア大学、東京大学、理研での研究ののち、2012年大阪大学教授、2021年京都大学に教授として着任（理学研究科物理学宇宙物理学専攻素粒子論研究室）。Koji Hashimoto:Born in 1973, a Japanese specialist in String Theory. He received his PhD from Kyoto University in 2000. He has worked at the University of California, University of Tokyo, RIKEN, and joined Osaka University in 2012 as a professor. More recently, in 2021 Hashimoto was appointed to Kyoto University as a professor of Theoretical Particle Physics in the Department of Physics.PHOTO by Sajik Kim黒川 徹素材が内包する力学と身体感覚をもとにした「野生の数学」をテーマに作品制作を行う。アジアや中東など約１０ヵ国で滞在制作を行い、古来からの思想と造形、また物理学や数学との接点を探っている。クラインの壺やメビウスの帯のような、内と外のない造形を特徴とする。1984年 京都府生まれ、2009年 京都市立芸術大学修了、2021年 個展「位相」銀座蔦屋書店・アートエディション前(東京)「集合論」クサカベギャラリー(京都)、2022年 Rising Talent Awards Craft 受賞  Maison&Objet Paris(フランス)Toru Kurokawa Toru Kurokawa creates sculptures under the theme of “Savage Math" based on the bodily sensations and the mechanics of the materials.
