Jama KL and Zazz Productions present: A Night of Blues & Rock! Featuring some of Malaysia's finest Blues & Rock Bands.1. Josh Thomas:We’re not sure who Josh Thomas ran into in Johor, but he picked up the guitar when he was 8 and got hooked ever since. He was tempted by the alternative and garage rock revival led by The White Stripes and The Black Keys.In his 20s, like all of us, he searched for his identity. Thomas was a regular at indie rock venues in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Johor while looking for his signature sound. He stopped looking when, like Robert Johnson, he found the blues invading his spirit. His song, “Still Falling” walks with Rolling Stones swagger mixed with Gary Clark Jr’s sleek, modern blues-rock production. Thomas' easygoing, singing guitar is a star throughout the song. Somebody has to keep the magic of raw, live guitar music alive for the next generation. Thomas keeps the flames of the Delta Blues, Gospel, Soul and Rock & Roll alive. His track, "Still Fallin'" is his own variety of the baby-I’m-howlin'-for-you garage rock. Their music is driving, energetic, in-your-face rock n roll. Their songs talk about life, love, loss and the ever present optimism that makes us what we are. The lineup consists of Keith Kamalaraj (lead vocals and guitar), Jay Ridzwan (rhythm guitars and vocals), Azlan Ramli (bass and vocals), Ravi Rishyakaran (Keyboards) andTimothy Achariam (drums).
