Singapore Kairalee Kala Nilayam (SKKN) presents Bombay Tailors -Malayalam Play written and directed by award winning playwright & director, Vinod Kumar K.  This play is inspired from a Telugu short story written by the well-known writer Mohammed Khadir Babu.  The drama which is colorful in its essence and presentation portrays the eventful life of Peerubhai, a tailor who was in great demand in his village some years ago until the advent of 21st century technology era. The play depicts the vast changes taking place in the social and economic fabric of India and the corresponding impacts on the thinking and lifestyle of a vast sect of people extending from common men to the heads of business houses, especially during the advent of globalization in last 5 decades.
