Poverty has been, and still is, a big problem in many less developed countries. Some places, especially the continent of Africa, remains mired in poverty, despite many international efforts including aid programs. Why is that so? Is there anything realistic that can be done about solving global poverty within our generation? Join us for this event as we investigate the issue through a film screening. It will be a 90 minute documentary on poverty and foreign aid in under-developed countries, and the future of these countries. Our events are tailored for students and young people, but everyone is welcome to attend.
