Be treated to two exciting performances that are not to be missed.Opening the evening will be Firqatul Wannazam, showcasing the dynamism of Hadrah. The performance puts forward veteran members of Firqatul Wannazam 1921 who were active in the 70s to the 90s. This special item will feature a popular Hari Raya Song set to a familiar hadrah rhythm popular during their kampong days.Following that, Nobat Kota Singa will dazzle you with a Keroncong Jazz concert, serenading audiences with Classic Keroncong songs and renditions of popular Hari Raya songs to get you in the best mood to celebrate Hari Raya.Don’t forget to make a date and sing along with us!***About Firqatul WannazamFirqatul Wannazam 1921 was established in 1921 by the late Syeikh Ahmad Bin Syeikh Amir upon his arrival from Palembang. We celebrated our 100th anniversary on 19th November 2021. Under the leadership of younger members, the group’s current mission is to reintroduce hadrah back to the community and lift it up again to its glory days by introducing different genres of hadrah. About Nobat Kota SingaNobat Kota Singa is a Malay Traditional Band from Singapore established in 2011. We provide live performances for weddings, theatre and dance shows. We participate in International Arts, Dance & Music Festivals.
