We begin with a curator tour of NMS’s exhibition – A Voyage of Love and Longing – to explore how the region’s flora and fauna features in different aspects of a journey such as voyage, longing and return.The journey continues to Fort Canning, where you will see plants that are unique to Southeast Asia and visit a garden inspired by the museum’s William Farquhar Collection of Natural History Drawings. Finally, we end with a tea session at Hotel Fort Canning, where you will get to taste a high-tea menu which features some of the plants encountered on your journey. Limited spaces available. Price includes a tour of Fort Canning and a tea session at Hotel Fort Canning. This programme is suitable for all participants from ages 13 and above. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing as there is an outdoor trail. Participants are reminded to keep their masks on while indoors. This programme is presented together with Hotel Fort Canning.
