A group of 11 women set off from a village in the extreme north of Portugal on pilgrimage to Fátima. They walk 400km on foot over 9 days, crossing half of Portugal in a great effort to fulfill their promises. The extreme fatigue, suffering and physical limitations of each one of them lead to moments of rupture. Kumano Hongu Taisha is the main shrine of Kumano Shrine, which has more than 4,700 companies nationwide. Kagura "Kumano" sings the hearts of worshipers walking on the distant and steep Kumano Kodo, purifying all sides with a dance and welcoming the sun.Concert "Pilgrimage to old songs" Yukie Sato (soprano)She graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Department of Vocal Music, and completed the Master's Program in Early Music at the same graduate school. Received the Acanthus Award at the time of her completion. She has been studying in the Master's program in Basel Scola Cantorum since 2011, and she gains further insights into a wide range of repertoires including medieval, renaissance, baroque and opera. She has won numerous awards in various international competitions. Lecturer at JF Oberlin University.Takashi Tsunoda (Laúd y Laúd árabe)Studied at the Lute Department of the National University of Music in Cologne, Germany in the 1970s, and after returning to Japan, he has been active in supporting the early days of early music in Japan. He especially focuses on ensembles with songs.
