The Kitakyushu area is proud to announce its own sustainability conference. If you are a student, or if you are interested in what it will take to build a more sustainable communities, you are invited to participate. This year’s theme is Community. First, we will hear from keynote speakers who will talk about community empowerment.Then, we will have an interesting discussion about aging society, resource sharing, and things that are necessary for making a sustainable society.When: May 17th and 18th, 2014 (Saturday and Sunday)Where: The Kitakyushu Innovation Gallery, Higashida Ward, Kitakyushu, JapanCapacity: 60 Language: EnglishAdmission: FreeOther events: Welcome Dinner (￥800), Optional tour (￥2000 for students, ￥2500 for others)Sign up for the Optional Tour here!
