Throughout history, the art world has survived and thrived because of patronage. In the past, kings, dukes, and nobles, in modern societies, governments, corporations and wealthier members of society have played and still play an important role in keeping the arts a part of our lives. Instinctively we know that without the arts in general, and in our case without music, without the song, society would be more drab, dull and our individual lives that much bleaker. Come join us for an evening of Song and Fun and help raise funds for NOS!  The songs most of us first heard were probably sung or hummed by our mother.  We were comforted, soothed by the sound of her voice. We learned our ABCs with a song. We learned how to count with a song. It was fun. As we grew up we discovered that there are songs for all moods and seasons. Enjoy yourself as our Youth Opera Singers, patrons and future Opera Singer as we Sing in our Songs for Fun(d)!
