LIM KOPI is a Playback Theatre Hybrid Performance by the participants of LA KOPI.LA KOPI is the inaugural Playback Theatre Crash Course designed and facilitated by the 3 Cups of Kopi Playback Theatre Ensemble.At LIM KOPI, you will witness new baristas (playbackers) work alongside experienced baristas (playback practitioners) to bring your stories to life. Come join us to share 'What's Next?' whether at home, at work, in your heart or around the world.WHO ARE 3 CUPS OF KOPI?3 Cups is a community group that got together in 2016 after attending Core Training organised by Tapestry Playback Theatre. We are committed to telling and listening to local stories which connect and inspire universally.WHAT IS PLAYBACK THEATRE?Imagine an interactive, improvised performance. Audience members share emotions, and these stories--be they short or long--are almost immediately presented through music, movement and metaphor.  Since there is no script, there will be no performance unless the audience feels comfortable enough to share their stories, which then become the content of the show. Every story is a gift, and stories can range from light-hearted to difficult, from hidden to transformative.The focus is to honour each story by accurately, respectfully and artistically presenting the emotional journey of what the teller shared. The experience of seeing one's own story and/or someone else's story played back can be surprising, insightful, or even stir up feelings of resonance, dissonance, remembrance. As we listen and we witness, we are united by our common humanity, whether ordinary or extraordinary.   INGREDIENTS THAT GO INTO A PLAYBACK PERFORMANCE  *Selected photos and short videos will be taken during the event.
