They will be introduced to the Design Thinking process which encourage them to take a solution-based approach in their creations, by focusing on who they are designing for and responding to the user’s needs and challenges. We encourage children to be creative with ways to re-think, reuse, recycle and repurpose common materials from their daily lives for their creations. Children will plan out their ideal floor plan before testing their form in 3D. They will learn the basics of model making and they will be so proud to go home with a prototype of their home design at the end of the camp! Any alternative arrangements that may be offered out of goodwill (e.g. joining a similar camp at a different location/date/time) are strictly subject to availability. No refunds will be given if an alternative arrangement cannot be arranged.In the event that your child presents any Covid-19 symptoms on any given day of the camp/ workshop, we seek your cooperation to see a doctor, keep them home and not attend the camp/ workshop. Children who appear to our facilitators to be symptomatic on the day of camp/ workshop will not be allowed to join and they will be required to be picked up promptly.
