Headling the opening act is the audiovisual artist, composer, and programmer, Yousuke Fuyama.[On Unsound Experiments]In many ways, noise music represents the catalyst to Kuno’s production.From his initiation of the first-ever internet-based band Wiggle (which composed commercial music for Toyota’s Scion bB (xB) series), to the creation of FLOW (an interactive music video collaboration with Dutch animator Han Hoogerbrugge), and the establishment of Six Strings Sonic, The, (Japan Media Arts Festival - Excellence Award, Art Division 2005) an innovative project that seeks to reinvent the guitar, Kuno’s widespread contributions have received great acclaim over the years.Featuring various collaborative performances with VJs, DJs and various pioneers of the underground music scene, Kuno’s Unsound Experiments seeks to test the limits of sound art and discover new sounds.Held on the very first night of the exhibition, Unsound Experiments #1 features three major figures of the experimental music scene; Carl Stone, Tatsuya Yoshida, Gil Kuno.
