Learn from him as he breathes life to these characters through the creative process of storytelling and the dynamic world of comic art.About James KhooJames Khoo is an environmental educator and award – winning filmmaker. He is the managing director of Pangolin Films, a film company focused on content with a social conscience. He is a leading figure in video documentation of performing arts in Singapore and employs his documentation techniques in the recording of local insect biodiversity. His environmental work is focused soil-based agriculture and its interactions with insects and other arthropods. He works with farmers and like-minded educators to raise awareness and understanding of insects.About Jerry HindsJerry Hinds is a comic artist, penciler, and superhero enthusiast, who has spent over 30 years in the design, marketing and advertising industry, working as a Creative Director, Art Director and Chief Copywriter. Formerly from Reading, UK, he moved to Singapore in 1997 and have remained ever since. He is also the president of ACAS (Association of Comic Artists Singapore), as well as established an independent publishing house, Nice One Entertainment in 2002. Jerry has written, directed and designed award winning 3D animations, and worked with ex-Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief, Tom DeFalco (Marvel's longest running Spider-Man writer) on his own Singapore-born super hero creation, Singapore Sling. The blue-haired super-heroine made her actual appearance in SupaCross #1: Don’t Drink the Water (2014) - the first installment of Singapore’s original superhero mini-comic series, headed by Jerry himself.About Cultivate CentralCultivate Central is a Permaculture Design practice that enables communities to embrace a "grow and make your own" culture whilst creating regenerative urban farms, eco programmes, kits, classes and content that cultivates earth care, wellness, a connection to nature and each other.About Goodman GrowsSet at the Goodman Grows Community Farm, Goodman Grows is a socially-driven community farm and art initiative where artists, food growers, nature and community converge and collaborate.
