He is a Fellow at the Nasser’s Higher Military Academy in Egypt. He is also a senior member of the Advisory Board of “Program of Master of Security Studies and Information Analysis” at American University in The Emirates (AUE). He has been a researcher at the Japan Forum on International Relations (JFIR), a Postdoctoral Fellow (PD) at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), a Ernest May Fellow in History and Policy at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the John F. Kennedy School of Public Policy at Harvard University, and a professor at the Nagoya University of Commerce and Business.
