Then, get a chance to tell your own story about the Malay Regiment through the medium of comics in a hands-on workshop guided by Zaki Ragman.Please note: Suitable for children, youth and adults aged 11 and up. Ticket price of $10 per pax includes sharing session, workshop, and one set of colouring materials per person, supported by STAEDTLER. Admission fees to RBC apply separately for non-Singaporean/Permanent Residents – participants should obtain their gallery admission tickets at the Visitor Services counter before proceeding to the programme venue. All participants must be fully vaccinated, recovered, or medically ineligible individuals to enter the museum.  From 1 Feb 2022, entry will be only be granted to recovered individuals who are within 180 days of their first positive PCR test result, if they are not fully vaccinated. The relevant documentation for recovered or medically ineligible individuals must be presented for entry. About Danny JalilDanny Jalil majored in Multimedia Arts and studied Creative Writing and Screenwriting at LaSalle-SIA College of the Arts. His works include the young adult novel The Machine Boy (Straits Times Press), and the graphic novels Lieutenant Adnan and the Fallen Regiment, and Elizabeth Choy: Her Story (with artist Zaki Ragman, published by Asiapac Books), and he is currently at work on his next novel. He he has spoken at the 2017 Singapore Writer’s Festival panel “Staring Into War’s Heart of Darkness”, and has moderated at the Singapore Writer’s Festival panel The History Hunter featuring writer Mark Greenwood in 2018, and has also spoken at schools about the joys of comics and writing. When not writing he makes digital illustrations and comics, which he posts regularly online.About Zaki RagmanZaki Ragman is a professional creative artist and teacher who believes in life-long learning. Having spent 20 years in the animation and creative industry, he grew to enjoy sharing, developing and visualising creative concepts with fellow artists and experimenting new ways to create artworks together. As a director, he was involved in the animated series The New Adventures of Nanoboy (2008), produced by Scrawl Studios.Zaki has worked alongside writer Danny Jalil on several graphic novels, with the former providing the illustrations to titles such as Lieutenant Adnan and the Last Regiment (2018), Legendary Tales of Singapore, and more recently Elizabeth Choy: Her Story (2020).
