When was the last time you heard a truly amazing story?

Or discovered an idea that flipped your world upside down?

Do you want to make a difference to your life or to your community?

On Sunday 6th April, TEDxUoN returns with 12 speakers and 3 performers sharing their dreams, ideas and experiences around the theme Think Global, Act Local. With Nobel Prize winners, award winning film-makers, government advisors, cutting-edge researchers, charity founders and much much more, it promises to be an incredible event!

A festival and celebration of fascinating ideas, people and communities from all across both Nottingham universities and the city itself, TEDxUoN will transform the way you think about problems and solutions both locally and across the world.

If you want to expand your horizons, develop skills to help the causes you're passionate about or meet the movers and shakers from across the city and university then TEDxUoN is a must!

In addition to our carefully curated speaker line-up, there's a vibrant extravaganza of interactive activities taking place throughout the day. From magical displays to dancing to art and film, TEDxUoN is a celebration of great global ideas blended with a local spice from the University and the city.

If you want to create positive change for yourself, your community or even the world, this is the event for you!

One of the best-value TEDx events in the UK, for just £7 you can be part of this adventure with lunch, snacks, drink and goodies thrown in as well! Check our facebook page and twitter for regular updates of speakers, competitions and sneak peeks as we run up to 6th April.

We can't wait to see you there!
