UltraSuperNew Gallery Singapore, in partnership with Singapore Cancer Society (SCS), presents Body Language. Held in conjunction with International Women’s Day, the art exhibition aims to deepen our awareness of our bodies by exploring the vast non-verbal cues it gives us. The intention is to build a deeper connection, awareness and appreciation of the body and its pivotal role in our holistic wellbeing.  Body language typically refers to signals we use to communicate non-verbally. Where the body is always “the observed”. Is that the end of the story? What is a language that our bodies use to communicate with ourselves? And how do we express ourselves to our own bodies? Exploring themes such as Flexibility, Freedom, Fun, Kindness and Love, 9 multidisciplinary artists interpret “Body Language” with their own style, and mediums such as paint, illustration, sculpture and drawing.  From noticing physical and emotional vulnerabilities in your loved ones, the complexity of living in your body where sometimes you have little control, the exploration of non-verbal communication, the freedom of movement in self-expression - we see body language take on many different forms that aim to ignite a sense of curiosity, self-discovery and appreciation for our own bodies. NOTICE - Please read before purchasing your ticketGeneral Admission ticket holders are entitled to a half hour exhibition walk-about (free and easy) only. To avoid crowding, please arrive punctually for your purchased slot and refrain from lingering outside the gallery. Only fully-vaccinated individuals are allowed entry to the exhibition. Masks are to be worn at all times within the space and consumption of food and drinks are not allowed. Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged.
