Join us on this exclusive tour as we explore three local Chinese temples (Hong San See, Wak Hai Cheng Bio, and Thian Hock Keng Temple) to see the door gods found within them and learn more about the legends and artforms behind these door gods.English tour conducted by: Victor YueVictor Yue's personal interests are in the area of the heritage of Singapore Chinatown and Chinese temples. Growing up, following his mum to various temple events in the neighbourhood, his interest in documenting began. Through the Chinese temple events, he got to know more about the practices and rituals, and associated art forms such as operas and puppets. This interest led him to try to visit many Chinese temples in and outside Singapore, tracing the regional links and links back to China.In trying to gather and share as much information about the Chinese cultural heritage, he created an email list and later a Facebook Group.
