How can I build a more effective team? How can I lead my
team members that work remotely? What is an effective way in overcoming
cross-cultural barriers? If you would like to learn more towards answering
these questions, then this event is for you.
It can be argued that a company is a collection of project teams
that work interdependently to achieve their goals. Project members can now be
sourced from around the world, and TRUST can play an important role towards a
project team’s success.
In the first session, Professor Keith Jackson of Doshisha
Business School (DBS) will run a workshop titled “TRUST: a factor in the performance of (virtual) project teams”,
where participants will be able to learn and practice the in’s and out’s of
building trust that would improve performance and satisfaction.
The workshop will be followed by a panel discussion in the
second session, where Professor Keith Jackson, (DBS), Professor ‘Mike’ Takeda
(DBS), and Ms. Yuka Yamaji (Nissen Financial Co. Ltd) will share their
experiences on working in cross-cultural and virtual project teams. Also,
participants will have an opportunity to have their queries on this subject addressed
during Q&A.
After the close of the workshop, you are invited to join us
for a networking party to meet the presenters and fellow participants. This is a bilingual event with English being the main language.

企業で働くということは、チームワークの集積であり互いに依存しあって目標を実現していかなくてはならないと言えるでしょう。今ではプロジェクトのメンバーは世界各国から集められ、プロジェクト成功のためには信用が重要な役割を果たします。
最初のセッションでは、同志社大学ビジネス研究科のKeith Jackson教授によるワークショップが行われます。タイトルは、「プロジェクトチームのパフォーマンスにおける信用の重要性」で、参加される方はどのように裏と表の信頼を構築できるのかを学び実践できるようになり、パフォーマンスや満足度の向上に繋がります。
その後パネルディスカッションを行います。内容としては、Keith Jackson教授(DBS)、竹田教授(DBS)と山路ゆうか様(ニッセン・クレジットサービス株式会社)にそれぞれが異なる文化を持つ人やバーチャルチームで作業をした時の経験談をお話頂きます。また、参加者の方は3名にこの議題に関連する質問をして頂くQ&Aの時間も設けております。
ワークショップ後には、講演者の3名や他の参加者の方と会談できる交流会にも参加頂けます。
主催者を代表して、このイベントが開催される日に皆さまとお会い出来る日を楽しめにしております。このイベントに二か国語によって行われるイベントですがメインは英語になります。
