You don’t need to be a sports or dance professional to help your children and students benefit  from movement. Master Teachers from the Physical Education and Sports Teacher Academy (PESTA) will share how parents and educators can incorporate movement in their daily lives with children of different age groups and abilities. She started her teaching career in 1992 teaching PE in primary schools and also served as Head of Department for 17 years. She now supports primary schools in delivering the PE Curriculum through teaching attachment  to  schools and consultation work. Mabel has also facilitated several workshops on topics such as Curriculum Design and Assessment, Differentiated Instruction, Dance, and Gymnastics. She is also involved in creating and designing teaching resources used in schools to facilitate students’ joy of learning and creativity. Karen Low is a Master Teacher at PESTA. Her areas of interest include early childhood and movement education, within which she explores Universal Design for Learning principles to help children  of different abilities. She enjoys working with children and teachers to build the young learners’ foundation and interest in physical activities and sports. Karen is particularly interested in the movement approach to Dance and Gymnastics for preschool and primary level after witnessing the development of creativity and positive self-esteem amongst students. --Frequently Asked Questions1.
