Not sure where to go or what to do on New Year's Day??? Join us on a cleanup at Pasir Ris Area 1 and start the year with DECLUTTERING THE OCEAN!!Its the time of the year where our North-Eastern coastline starts seeing more trash due to monsoon winds and increase number of beach goers. Meeting point will be at the beach in front of Ohana Beach House and depending on the trash levels, we will head to the area where we can make more impact. Once you arrive, look out for us - we will be wearing our black Small Change t-shirts.In case there are any changes, we will send you a message on Peatix. This is a FREE event. We are pet-friendly (leash required) and kid-friendly (no leash required). Please register for each person who is coming, and DO NOT bring additional people who are not registered, as we have to abide by the government's safe distancing measures.What to bring:- Booties/covered shoes that can afford to get dirty- Hat and sunscreen- Insect repellent- Water- Slippers/clothes to change into after the cleanupWhat is provided:- Gloves- Recycled rice sacks for containing trashWhat to expect:- Briefing- 60 - 90 minutes of beach cleaning- Weighing and sorting of trash
