Cold process soap making is the act of mixing fixed oils with an alkali. This results in a chemical process-saponification, where the composition of the oil is transformed with the aid of the alkali to create soap.Hand-made soaps allow you to mix and match colorful and natural ingredients that you love. In this workshop, Jennie from My Puromi will be sharing with you the brief history, basic chemistry of soap making, oil and their properties, essential oil basics followed by a soap making demo before you make your own soap batches!
