Participants will be guided through a brief presentation on the history and benefits of henna before learning how to draw basic motifs with henna cones to design their own patterned notebook and bookmark. Due to the complexity of this workshop, this workshop is strictly for ages 16 and above.  About SyraSkinsStarting out at art bazaars, fairs, and flea markets, SyraSkins has grown into one of the most prominent henna artists in Singapore, always presenting original and modern designs. SyraSkins continues to create innovative designs, and shares their knowledge with the community through personal and group workshops, and educational content through social media. SyraSkins hopes to elevate henna from ancient body art to a modern-day art form for all, through expanding the canvas beyond the skin. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)1. What kind of COVID-19 precautions are in place for this activity? Number of participants will be limited, and tables will be sanitised before and after each session. No materials will be cross shared among participants.  All participants will be required to sanitise their hands before the workshop, fill in a Contact Tracing form, always wear a mask, and avoid mingling beyond their group.  Vaccination-differentiated safe management measures Please note that vaccination-differentiated safe management measures (VDS) have been implemented for entry to museums. Individuals will be allowed entry in group sizes up to 2 persons if all are vaccinated. Children ages 12 years and below, recovered individuals, and unvaccinated individuals with a negative Pre-Event Test (PET) result, can be included in the groups of 2 If there is more than one child age 12 or below in the group of 2 persons, both children must be from the same household. You will be required to present your TraceTogether app or token, or any of the following documents (which may be relevant) for entry:i. Vaccination status and test result on the HealthHub Appii. Physical vaccination certificates/reports/cards under the National Vaccination Programmeiii. Physical ART of PCR result slips from MOH-approved COVID-19 test providersiv. Pre-Event Testing (PET) exemption notice 2. How many friends/family members can I attend with?  Participants will only be able to attend the workshop in groups of 2, as required by the current Safe Management Measures. Participants will be required to remain in their groups of 2 and avoid mingling with other attendees.  3. What materials will I receive for the workshop?Participants will receive all necessary materials, including henna cones, paint cones, 1 bookmark, 1 notebook and practice sheets, and notes.    4. How old must I be to participate in this workshop? You must be at least 16 to attend this workshop. Due to the complexity of the activity, this workshop is not suitable for younger children. Please note that we will turn away anyone who is younger than 16 years old.  5. Why is there a refundable deposit of $10?As participant spaces are highly limited, the deposit ensures that the facilitator’s time is maximised and that all registered participants will attend.
