Come on board this whimsical journey! A movement and craft workshop that aims to tickle your senses in every way. Stretch your imagination while we harness creativity through movement. Experience and enjoy nature as we explore outdoors. Together, we shall create our own magical fungi craft. This workshop is inspired by Fungus Humongous - an arts space at The Artground and developed in conjunction with TAG.Age group:Recommended for 5 to 8 years old (accompanied by an adult). Each ticket admits one accompany parent and one child. Time: 9.30am - 10.15am Duration: 45minAbout the artistNAYA, which means new in Sanskrit, was ironically born out of a collaboration between old friends. Its founders, Durrah, Irsyad, Nadhirah and Tammy have known each other since meeting in SOTA in 2012, but NAYA was only formed in 2020 when the friends were reunited once more over the desire to reignite the spark of artistic collaboration between them. Bridged by the ethos that art should be made accessible to everyone, the group aims to make art unbounded by barriers of access such as class, age, and ability. While it sounds like an ambitious goal, the group believes in handling these issues with the gravitas they deserve, whilst also not taking themselves too seriously. When not creating art, the group enjoys taking turns to mess with each other, long conversations over pizza, and rollerskating. Set at the Goodman Grows Community FarmArts House Limited presents Goodman Grows, a socially-driven community farm and art project at Goodman Arts Centre in partnership with programme partners Cultivate Central.
