Noticing, observing and perceiving become the ‘stepping stones’ to “Their Conversations”, beginning with solitary marks that build into a created dialogue. In the 3rd session of Mark Making; "Their Conversations”, Diana will take you to an intersection that integrates contemplative, playful and chaotic enquiry to unravel the personal familiar inner voice, juxtaposed with a concealed, uncertain ‘crowded dialogue’. This session focuses on the making of abstract (marks) activities that become a metaphor to allow participants to shift their view and perspective.Commencing with individual marks that slowly merge group interaction in to outcomes. The purpose is to form an opening for curiosity, exploration, which leads to trust, open dialogue, exchange and play, thus outcomes that may not have been seen or experienced emerge form amongst the different participants – ultimately it becomes a shared experience and engagement.Build imagination, through observing, noticing and perceiving, it walks you through creative expression that becomes a playful engagement. Working in small groups, who express ideas based upon creative and questioning platforms.At each stage, a slow build up of the activity is formed, that transpires with the participants noticing, observing perceiving new ideas, ultimately make meaning; – engagement of both words and images. “Aligning the Brush with the Heart” is a series Diana is conducting over a 12 month period, in Tokyo, Japan.
