He is a practising Medical Doctor who is in Corporate Finance. While on his journey to becoming a Specialist, he made a conscious decision to choose a better quality of life for himself than what clinical service afforded him. He holds an MBBS degree from the International  Medical University and a Doctor of Surgery degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.Dr. Alvin will be speaking on Transitioning from the Medical Field to the Corporate Arena: The Soft Skills Needed. Dr Alvin started his career as a Medical Doctor with the Ministry of Health Malaysia in 2010. He began working in the Surgical department as a Medical Officer in 2013. Dr Alvin became a Surgical Registrar in 2015 and pursued General Surgery Residency training to become a General Surgeon when he made a career shift. At Magnitude Healthcare, Dr. Alvin oversees Investments, Healthcare Consultancy, Healthcare Clinics, and Bio-Medical Solutions.  His hope is to spur lifestyle changes in community by targeting the corporate world to provide healthcare plans for their employees. Dr. Goh HM Dr. Goh HM is a physician executive with over 20 years experience, specializes in Asian healthcare investment. He was a practicing clinician in Edinburgh, he later served as the Medical Director / COO for University of Malaya Specialist Centre, Malaysia and was appointed to the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya as Adjunct Professor (Clinical Informatics). Dr Goh consulted and completed a few healthcare projects eg Khazanah's ReGen Rehab Hospital, Centre for GI & Liver Diseases (CENGILD). He served as project consultant for SGX-listed International Specialist Eye Centre, National Health Institute (IJN) and Assunta Hospital. He was the Group CEO for the HK-listed Tongren Healthcare Holdings in China that owned a network of hospitals and eldercare facilities. He is currently the Executive Director of a Singapore-based Private Equity and tasked to spearhead the transformation of Vietnam's largest Public Private Partnership (PPP) healthcare project, he sits in the board of the investment holding company and subsidiary hospitals (3150 beds). Dr Goh is actively investing in healthcare assets in Asia Pacific region. Dr Goh HM will be speaking on My Journey from Clinical Medicine to Clinical Informatics, Hospital Management and Healthcare Investment.
