There you will learn about the importance of the Singapore River in our country's trading history.From there we'll walk from Boat Quay, once the hub of trade in Singapore, to Telok Ayer Street, where Singapore's coastline used to be before land reclamation. We'll visit the UNESCO awarded Wak Hai Cheng Bio and Thian Hock Keng temples – great examples of SEA temple architecture - as well as the Nagore Dargah Indian Muslim shrine to learn the importance of these places of worship to some the various communities which came here in the19th century.
