Content The City of Sendai and Samurai Incubate, Inc. are pleased to announce that the "Sendai New Public" program will be held again this year as part of the City of Sendai's support to build an ecosystem that fosters entrepreneurs and supports the creation of businesses that solve administrative and regional issues that lead to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Although the number of cases where international students launch startups are increasing, there are still not many. In this event, we will discuss the challenges and solutions in commercialization by "international students".The speakers are Tamir Blum (From Tohoku Univ. ), of Kisui Tech who has commercialized and started a business using AI and robots to help farmers based on his research, and  Anna Kreshchenko(From Kyoto Univ.) of Flora Corporation, who has started a business related to mental health care for pregnant women and women raising children, and Igor Voroshilov(From Tokyo Univ.) of LikePay Inc who has launched a service while studying and is now working on "no-code" industry,  will talk to us from different angles. 趣旨・目的 仙台市と株式会社サムライインキュベートは、仙台市が取り組む”起業家を生み育てるエコシステム構築”の一環として、「持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）」の達成につながる行政課題や地域課題を解決するビジネス創出支援プログラム「SENDAI NEW PUBLIC」を今年度も開催いたします。日本の大学に在学する留学生がスタートアップを立ち上げる事例が増えてきていますが、「留学生」による事業化や起業はまだまだ多くはないのが現状です。本イベントでは「留学生」が事業化を進める上での課題やその解決策を探ります。登壇者には、研究内容を農家を助けるAIとボット・事業化・起業された輝翠TECH の タミル・ブルーム氏（東北大学在学中）と、妊婦や子育てをしている女性に対する、 心のケアに関する事業を立ち上げたFlora株式会社のアンナ・クレシェンコ氏（京都大学在学中）と、在学中に事業を立ち上げ、現在はコーディングを必要としないソフト開発「ノーコード」業界において、SaaS開発と教育委員会の事業に取り組むヴォロシオフ・イーゴリ氏（東京大学卒業）迎え、それぞれの角度からお話をお伺いします。 Date & Time October 21st (THU) 18:30 - 20:00*The session will be broadcast via zoom.*All sessions will be held in English. 日時 10月 21日 (木) 18:30～20:00※当日はzoomでの配信を予定。※全編英語で開催予定。 Speakers Information （登壇者情報） CEO／Founder - Kisui TECH (輝翠TECH CEO／Founder)　Tamir Blum （ブルーム・タミル）Tamir is the founder of Kisui TECH, an AI robotics company creating AI robotic services that empower small-medium-sized family farmers to manage larger farms with fewer people in order to overcome the labor shortage and aging society by providing machines that can do work without needing a human operator.Tamir completed his Ph.D. at Tohoku University on AI for lunar robots. Previously, he completed his Master’s at UCLA, during which time he got industry experience in the Aerospace industry through internships at SpaceX and AeroVironment. Came to Japan in 2017 and in 2018 entered Kyoto University, the Faculty of Law. Anna is a member of the International Entrepreneurship Community at the Graduate School of Management. She was selected by the Phoenixi Incubator in 2020. SAMURAI INCUBATE, with its expertise in investing in and supporting the growth of early-stage entrepreneurs and startups, as well as in-house entrepreneurs at major corporations, will provide hands-on support.
