Now that streaming services have made the music market global, the question is how the music industry in the Asia Pacific region should connect with the world and demonstrate its presence in the global music industry. In addition to cases such as K-POP in South Korea that are creating global-level star artists, there are increasing cases from the Asia-Pacific region where we are acquiring a global fan base without relying on charts or major brands as in the past. So what we need to know now is the possibility of how we can differentiate from the approaches of major Western-centered companies. Now it’s time for ourselves to learn about what potential this region, which is becoming the center of the world economy, has and how we can surprise the world. In this conference, WIN (Worldwide Independent Network) members in the Asia-Pacific region, including IMCJ (Independent Music Coalition Japan), will discuss what kind of future the Asia-Pacific region can build by getting to know each other better and cooperating with each other. ◆General Information 【Date, Time and Location】October 19 - 20, 202117:00 - 19:00 (Japan Standard Time)ONLINE【Ticket】Please register 2DAYS attendance ticket (Free) on Peatix.【Hosted by】IMCJ (Independent Music Coalition Japan)https://imcj.or.jp/【Co-hosted by】Music Ally Japanhttps://www.musically.jp/【Language】Japanese and English (With translation subtitles)Some programs are in Japanese only. Two programs are in Chinese or with Chinese subtitles. ◆Agenda 【DAY 1】October 19 (Tue.)Understanding the markets in East Asia 17:00〜 Introduction and Overview (Only in Japanese)Yushi Yamashita (IMCJ Chairman / KSR) Jay Kogami (Music Ally Japan) 17:10〜 Market Report 1 - South Korea (English / Japanese)Jeffrey Chiang (LIAK - Record Label Industry Association of Korea) 17:30〜 Market Report 2 - China (English / Japanese)Alessandro Pavanello (International Business Director, Kanjian Music) 17:50〜 Market Report 3 - Taiwan (English / Chinese / Japanese)Zoe Wang (TAICCA/Taiwan Creative Content Agency) 18:10〜 Market Report 4 - Japan (English / Chinese / Japanese)Izumi Yamaguchi (IMCJ board member) 18:30〜 Future of Asian Music Industry and what Japan can do (Only in Japanese)Yushi Yamashita (IMCJ Chairman / KSR)Yusuke Nakagawa (IMCJ board member / Asobi Music)Jay Kogami (Music Ally Japan) 【DAY 2】October 20 (Wed.)Understanding South East Asia, Oceania and the World 17:00〜 Market Report 5 - ASEAN countries (English / Japanese)Ayano Komatsubara (M.A.U Collective Co-Founder) 17:30〜 Market Report 6 - Australia (English / Japanese)Dom Alessio (Digital Export Producer, Sounds Australia) 17:50〜 Market Report 7 - New Zealand (English / Japanese)Dylan Pellett (IMNZ - Independent Music NZ General Manager) 18:10〜 Shaping future by regional alliance – Case studies from other regions (English / Japanese)Case Study in EuropeHelen Smith (IMPALA - Independent Music Companies Association Executive Chair)Case Study in South AmericaNoemi Planas (WIN - Worldwide Independent Network General Manager) 18:30〜 Shaping future by Asian Pacific alliance (English / Japanese)Dylan Pellett (IMNZ - Independent Music NZ General Manager)Jeffrey Chiang (LIAK - Record Label Industry Association of Korea)Maria Amato (AIR - Australian Independent Records Labels Association CEO)Noemi Planas (WIN - Worldwide Independent Network General Manager)Facilitator: Tak Yamazaki (IMCJ) 18:55 Closing (Only in Japanese)Yushi Yamashita (IMCJ Chairman / KSR) Jay Kogami (Music Ally Japan) ◆Speakers Profile Alessandro Pavanello (International Business Director, Kanjian Music)Shanghai based Alessandro is a music industry professional as well as a producer/musician, working for China's leading music industry services company Kanjian Music (看见音乐).
