Ilona founded and was the first Chair of the European Network of Positive Psychology (ENPP), and was subsequently the member of its Steering Committee for many years. She organised the first European Congress of Positive Psychology in June 2002 (Winchester), starting a successful tradition of bi-annual events. She was the first Vice-Chair of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) and has been continuingly the member of its Board of Directors since 2007. Ilona is on the Board of Directors for the Francophone Association for the Development of Leadership, on the Expert Advisory Board for the Action for Happiness, is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, the Royal Society of Arts and the Wellington College, the first ever secondary school to teach well-being lessons. Her works have also appeared on The Figaro, Guardian, Times, Observer, Psychologies, Top Sante and Cosmopolitan articles and interviews, as well as radio and TV interviews for BBC 24, BBC London and other channels. Ilona is passionate about practical applications of positive psychology to business, education and one-to-one helping-by-talking practices. In addition, Ilona has also consulted organisations and educational institutions around the globe as a director of Positran, a boutique consultancy specialising in the applications of evidence-based methodologies to achieve lasting positive transformation. Currently, she holds a post of Honorary Principal Lecture at Anglia Ruskin University, UK.Module Leader: Dr. Robert DienerAcclaimed as the “Indiana Jones of Positive Psychology”, Dr. Robert Diener is one of the world’s leading experts in the study of positive psychology and well-being. He has written and published over 50 academic articles and books on positive emotions and happiness. Some of his key publications such as Practicing Positive Psychology Coaching (2010) are in the top ten best selling psychology books in amazon. In addition, Robert is a dynamic trainer in positive psychology that is known for his storytelling acumen. Several multi-national corporations such as the Standard Charted Bank, Samsung and the Singapore Civil Service College have been engaged with Robert. Being a module leader at The School of Positive Psychology, he has also trained professionals from Kaiser Permanente and Ruby Receptionists. Robert has presented keynote lectures, panels and other presentations to groups ranging from medical doctors, financial planners to social service workers. His work in positive psychology has created an omnipresent surrounding in the world of psychology. Till this day, Robert is a frequent guest speaker at TEDtalks, a highly influential non-profit organization that posts talks online with topics often concerned with scientific, cultural and academic topic. Beyond his duties as an author, trainer and speaker, Robert is also a vivacious coach in positive psychology. This has led him to his mission as the managing director of Positive Acorn, a consultancy agency for trainers and business coaches.Module Leader: Dr. Evelyn RossetDr. Evelyn Rosset is an extremely passionate French-American psychology lecturer that has over 10 years of teaching experience under her belt. As a lecturer in France, she is known for supervising and designing masters level courses such as Positive Management and Introduction to Positive Psychology. Her career as a lecturer has also brought her to her stint in Boston University whereby she was responsible for teaching courses in Developmental Psychology and Personality Psychology. In recent years, Evelyn has primarily switched her focus onto research studies whereby she has collaborated with renowned psychologists such as Dr. Paula Niedenthal to research on positive emotions, mood and weather, funded by I’Agence Nationale de Recherche (ANR), the French National Research Agency. Evelyn is also an active member in the community of Positive Psychology, as she was the president of HumanKind, a non-profit organization and also the vice-president of the Association Francaise De Psychologie Positive, an institution dedicated towards teaching applications of Positive Psychology such as coaching, education, business and therapy.
