Calling all makers, hackers, tinkerers, artists, crafters, educators and geeks! Come and join us at the second Makers' meetup of the year at the Sustainable Living Lab (SL2), 81 Lorong Chencharu on 21 March, 2014 from 7.30pm to 10pm.We are pleased to have a line-up of amazing speakers from diverse background:Alex Kee (Inventor/Entrepreneur)Hui Shan (Accountant-turned-Designer)Ling Ling (Civil Servant/Dollmaker)Wee Kiang (Scientist/Maker Educator)For the past 3 years, SL2 has been making headway in promoting innovation and the message of sustainability in Singapore. Helmed by a dynamic and youthful team, SL2 exemplifies the ground-up kampung spirit, inspiring both the young and the old to contribute their resources to make Singapore a better place to live and to serve. They are also the core of the makers movement in Singapore as being the first to set up a public makerspace where anyone can learn to make stuff. What better way to spend a Friday evening than to see, hear and experience for yourselves the range of creativity and innovative projects that they have embarked on.
