First Time to PechaKucha?PechaKucha (ペチャクチャ), literally chit-chat in Japanese is a presentation style in which 20 slides of still photos are shown for 20 seconds each, devised in February 2003 by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of Tokyo's Klein-Dytham Architecture (KDa). The format, which keeps presentations casual, concise and exhilarating powers multiple-speaker events called PechaKucha Nights (PKNs). Today, PKNs are held in nearly 1000 cities worldwide, with 10,000 PKNs been held and now we are in Penang!Volume Two PresentersOur presenters line-up in Volume Two continue to be an assemblage of established Penang talents and drivers in various areas, including music, arts, heritage, history and environment-related fields.1. PHOM opened its door in November 2016 and is now Penang's best kept secret getaway for music and history lovers. PHOM houses an exhibition Gallery, a thematic Resource Center for musicians, academicians, students, et cetera, and also a performance Black Box.From KOMTAR Level 3: You can access PHOM from Level 3, KOMTAR. Please proceed to the entrance of the ICT Digital Mall (opposite KFC Restaurant). Turn left inside the entrance and walk straight until you reach the escalators. The escalator will lead you directly to PHOM's entrance on Level 4.From Prangin Mall / First Avenue Link Bridge: Please take the link bridge to reach Level 3 of KOMTAR.
