WE LOVE JAZZ SG presentsWe Love Jazz Participatory Series (WLJPS) #3: LISTENING + SHARING SESSION---------------------------------------------------- JAZZ APPRECIATION THROUGH LISTENING AND SHARINGWhether you are a practitioner or a curious music lover who wants to know more about jazz, join us for our 3rd installation of We Love Jazz Participatory Series (WLJPS), as we gather at Artistry Cafe for a listening and sharing sessionJazz can be an intimidating art form to some ears - through this casual & friendly sharing session, let us together discover what makes jazz so special. Why not walk away with new ways of listening and maybe even a new found knowledge at the end of the day!Sharing slots are limited, do reserve yours now!SCHEDULE:7:00-7:30pm: Door opens for registration.7:30-8:15pm: Listening + Sharing Session Part I8:15-8:45pm: Break 8:45-9:30pm: Listening + Sharing Session Part II9:30pm : End of sessionHow will it be organised?Individual may choose to participate as listeners, or to share one of their favourite jazz tunes (max 2 per participant). Each track will be given a maximum of 10 minutes for listening, sharing and group discussion. We encourage everyone to bring along a pen and paper or recording device for note taking. REQUIREMENT & THINGS TO NOTE :For participants :a) Please bring a jazz tune your love for listening on a chosen device - phone, thumb drive, laptop or tablet.b) Share with the group about this tune.c) Group discussions of opinions.d) Please indicate the tune(s) and artist's name(s) in the form that will appear at the end ofyour peatix booking.
