Back to the 16th century, these were used to print and redistribute the artwork of English round handwriting masters. Today, easy access to technology often make us lose the personal touch on our birthday cards, invitations and journals just because we think our handwriting will ruin the final product. Now, you can learn and try this beautiful and historical art form!In this 4-hour workshop in collaboration with Ai Ling and Agnes from @doodlingdarling & @paperblobs, you will learn how to work with a speedball oblique holder, pointed pen nib and calligraphy ink. Customized practice sheets complete with grids and slant lines will be provided. The main focus will be on learning various amounts of pressure to apply to the pens to produce thick and thin strokes. You will learn upper and lowercase letter forms, letter connect and sentence composition.
