We welcome both actors and non-actors with an interest in creating an independent performance piece with poetry, storytelling, theatre and movement techniques.The Body Poetry course will make poetry with words and in the physical being.Over eight weeks, students gain a deeper understanding of image-making using text as well as movement.Metaphor lives in a new way as forms intersect and intention proves paramount. Can poetry still exist without words? What does it mean to embody a poem?
