We’ll meet in the morning in Park Slope, Brooklyn. After a short jaunt through beautiful Prospect Park, we will travel for several miles on the Ocean Parkway Bike path, the oldest in America. We will spend a couple of hours at Coney Island, where participants are free to relax at the beach, swim in the ocean, ride the historic Coney Island Cyclone roller coaster, or grab a hot dog at Nathan’s, a true NYC institution. Be sure to bring money for lunch and activities. Participants are free to join us for the ride back to Park Slope, or part ways and spend more time at Coney Island.Register Here: https://www.imathlete.com/#/legacy?url=%2Fevents%2FEventOverview.aspx%3FfEID%3D64914%26z%3D1489075268103Where You Gotta Be: The West Drive entrance to Prospect Park across from Bartel-Pritchard Square at the intersection of Prospect Park West and Prospect Park South-West.When You Gotta Be There: 10:00AM (returning by 3:00PM)How Far You’re Gonna Go: 16 miles (round trip). How Hard It’s Gonna Be: We’ll ride at a relaxed pace on mostly flat, low-traffic streets and bike paths, with a few stops along the way.
