Stand a chance to redeem a special souvenir when you complete the game (while stocks last). This programme is brought to you by the NMS Youth Panel, in conjunction with the special exhibitions Home, Truly: Growing Up with Singapore, 1950s to the Present and Picturing the Pandemic: A Visual Record of COVID-19 in Singapore. You will require an Internet-enabled mobile phone with the Telegram app installed to participate.Frequently Asked Questions1. How will the game be played? The game will be self-facilitated and conducted through a Telegram chatbot and require players to explore the museum and complete tasks to advance. Every participant should have a Internet-enabled mobile phone with the Telegram app installed before participating in the game. It is highly recommended for both members of the team to play the game on their own mobile phones. Please note that each player who wishes to redeem a souvenir will need to complete the game on their own individual device. 2. How old must I be to take part in this programme? This programme is suitable for participants aged 16 and above. It is not recommended for children.3. What if I'm not a youth? Can I still take part in the programme? We welcome youth and the young at heart :) However, please be aware that the content has been written for youth, by youth. A sense of humour is recommended for maximum enjoyment.4. Is this a group activity? Must I sign up in a team? Each ticket is for a pair of participants so that you can play together with a friend. If you have more than 2 people who wish to participate, we encourage you to split yourselves up in pairs (you can compete with each other!). If you are a solo player, you can purchase a pair of tickets but please indicate so in the Peatix form. It is highly recommended for both participants in the pair to play the game on your own individual device.5. Is the game competitive? The game is not competitive and can be completed at your own pace. However, there will only be a limited number of souvenirs given out in each time slot for successful completion of the game, so redemption is on a first come first served basis, while stocks last.6. Can I register to play multiple times? As there are limited slots available, we seek your cooperation to register for only 1 slot over the weekend. Multiple bookings for the same pair of players is not allowed.7. What time do I need to be present for the programme?Registration will commence 20 minutes before your booked slot. On the event day, NMS will hold your slot for 10 minutes, i.e. if you've registered for the 11am slot, we will only hold your slot until 11.10am. If you're not present by then, we will release your slot and you will need to wait for the next available slot for entry.4. How many souvenirs can I redeem?Only 1 souvenir is allowed per participant. Souvenirs are available while stocks last. Each participant is required to show an image of the completed challenge at the redemption counter and additional verification will be done by staff onsite before redemption. Please note that pairs must complete the game on two separate mobile phones to be able to redeem a souvenir each i.e. if a pair of players shares one phone to complete the game, they are only entitled to one souvenir shared between them.5. What kind of COVID-19 precautions are in place for this programme? This is a self-facilitated game with limited slots, and is designed to spread players out across the museum. It is also a contactless activity. Please remember to take note of safe-distancing guidelines while you are exploring the galleries. Our gallery sitters may approach and remind you of the guidelines if these are not observed.6. Tickets are sold out! Can I still take part in the programme?Pre-registration is strongly encouraged to help us run the programme safely. Walk-in registration is subject to availability, and the programme only runs on the hour i.e. if you show up at 11.30am without a booking, you will need to wait until 12.10pm to find out if there are any tickets available for the 12pm timeslot. Please note that walk-in players will start the game slightly later than pre-registered ones in the same time slot.
