Ebi Shankara will present a lecture titled Routing and Rerouting, where he will discuss his background and how that has shaped his career. He will discuss his love for music and how one discipline has influenced the other. Ebi will also discuss his role in the Tamil Theatre scene and how he works to raise awareness of Tamil art forms, specifically theatre. About Ebi ShankaraEBI SHANKARA graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2008 with a Diploma and a First Class Honours Degree in Acting in 2012. His involvement  in  theatre  began with  Wild  Rice  in, Cinderellah,  he then  joined  Buds Youth Theatre  and SRT's The Young Company. Shankara’s commercial fame came in 2007 when he won Vasantham Star.Other lead role credits includes Horse in Pangdemonium’s production of The Full Monty, Reza in Alia Bano’s Shades, Krishna in Michael Chiang’s Army Daze The Musical and Samson in Michael Chiang’s High Class. Shankara is best remembered for playing Vinod in Finger Players’  restaging of Haresh Sharma's Off Centre.​He hosted the National Day Parade in 2008 and 2014 and Countdown 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015.Shankara is also the Artistic Director of Ravindran Drama Group Company.
